Moss and Mist

Description

Moss and Mist takes on a walk through the glen where the clouds float over the hills unveiling the moss covered cliffs and the valley below. It balances the dark and light, cold and wet with sun that peaks through to greet us and warm us when we need it and remind us that we must have lows to appreciate and enjoy the highs.

This piece is part of my approach to abstract expressionism using alcohol ink. It balances my passion for abstract expressionism’s intensity, with its explosive movements, with the finesse of softer approaches, such as the watercolor technique.
