Kealy

Description

Kealy is a part of my ‘Flower and Wine’ series that revisits and reinvents the art genre of abstract expressionism. The painting is a mixed media work constructed from a combination of acrylic paint, staining the surface with wine, and using real flowers varnished onto the surface. The flowers and wine symbolize memorabilia, add texture, and explore the experimentation process. My abstract works investigate psychology and how viewers interpret my work which is manipulated by the viewers’ own experiences.
